“Animal Adventures in Music is exactly what we've been searching for in our private music lesson business. For years, the preschool age group has been underserved in our studios. We've tried group lessons, 8 week programs, 10 week programs...you name it, we've tried it. Nothing ever seemed to stick! Animal Adventures in Music has taken the guesswork out of preschool programming and allowed us to excel in what we do best; private, one on one music lessons for all ages. Our teachers love teaching AAM. The teacher guide is super easy to use and takes away all the headaches of lesson planning. It goes hand in hand with the student workbooks that are themed and well thought out. Our students, teachers, and families love the themed music rug with characters and musical notes. Best of all, Animal Adventures in Music gives our preschoolers hands-on experience with real instruments! As soon as we launched the program, we grew to having 15 active students within the first month, with an AAM approved teacher team of 6 instructors. We can't wait to see how this program grows in the months and years to come.”

“AAM Has Been a Huge Win for All Four of Our Locations! Since we started using Animal Adventures in Music (AAM) at all four of our music school locations, the results have been amazing. Not only has it boosted our overall student enrollment, but it’s also been a game-changer when opening new locations. AAM has made a big impact by driving strong initial enrollment right from the start, giving us a fantastic foundation to build on. The setup process couldn’t have been easier. The teacher guide is super clear and helpful, making it simple for our instructors to dive in and deliver engaging lessons that students absolutely love. We constantly hear from parents about how much fun their kids are having! Adding AAM has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our schools. It’s created excitement among students, families, and staff, and it’s helped us stand out in the community. If you’re considering it for your studio, we highly recommend it. It’s been a total game-changer for us!”

A Complete Music Education for Kids

From Rhythm to Notes, We’ve Got It All!

With 10 levels of engaging books, complete with stickers, flashcards, and more, this program makes learning music theory a blast for kids — and teaching it a breeze for instructors. From basic rhythms and intervals to advanced music symbols and instruments, our curriculum covers everything, including fundamentals like time signatures, note reading, staccato, legato, and more. Imagine a 4-year-old confidently assembling 3 measures in 3/4 time, accurately using notes and rests… That’s just a taste of what our students can do by Level 5 — and they still have 5 levels of learning to go! By graduation at Level 10, they’ll read and perform rhythms from whole notes to sixteenth notes and master three octaves of notes on the grand staff. Whether they move on to piano, guitar, violin, or drums, kids gain a comprehensive understanding of music — setting them up for lifelong success!

Classes are split into 3 segments to build consistency and routine

Table Time

The student and teacher work together to learn and practice new concepts using their AAM workbook as well as other resources such as a music staff whiteboard and flashcards.

Rug Time

The student and teacher meet on the adorable AAM music staff rug to practice note reading, rhythm, and musical expression in a fun setting! The high-energy segment of Rug Time solidifies and simplifies complex concepts for young students, all while utilizing fun, active games to get kids moving and keep them engaged

Stage Time

The final segment of class is spent in hands-on exploration, listening, and learning about one of the 10 instruments (Voice, Guitar, Violin, Flute, Drums, Saxophone, Cello, Trumpet, Clarinet, and Piano) that are covered. Students are able to experience holding and hearing the instruments to see what kind of sounds they make!

Teach classes with ease using our handy-dandy teacher guide

With our detailed teaching guide, teachers can easily guide students with activities and structure for every single lesson in the 10-level program. The guide can be followed exactly or adapted for various students’ learning styles, rate of progress, and individual goals. ANY music teacher can effectively teach this program. The program focuses on fundamental music theory and general instrument knowledge, so you don’t need to be a concert performer in each instrument to proficiently teach this class!

Fill your teachers’ schedules!

Are you looking for ways to fill your studio in the less popular morning and early afternoon hours? AAM is the perfect solution to make use of your space and bring in revenue during times when most other students are at school or work. Because many AAM students tend to be available in the mornings and early afternoons, you can finally have a completely full schedule!

Do you have teachers in your studio who could use some more students? If they enjoy working with young children, they are perfect for AAM no matter what instrument they teach! Most studios simply schedule AAM classes in their teachers’ current openings. No need to hire anyone special or open any new days! And classrooms can easily double as both private instrument lesson rooms and AAM classrooms.

The best way to think about this program in your studio…

is to imagine offering another instrument. How many piano students do you have? How many guitar students? What amount of revenue do these students bring in? What if you could offer another popular new instrument at your studio without having to worry about hiring special teachers or learning anything new? That’s exactly what AAM is! It’s easy to launch and operate because the structure is the same as what you already have. Keep all the same policies, formats, scheduling procedures, pricing, etc., that you have now. AAM is simply another type of lesson you can offer — but completely unique because it offers private lessons to an age that other studios cannot accommodate!

We just purchased the Animaal Adventures program for our school and the results are overwhelmingly in favor of keeping this amazing program. The Teacher training books are easy to follow and be prepared for each lesson. The books are high quality with plenty of coloring, stickers, and musical games for all to enjoy in the lesson and at home. Hanging the top-notch medals in our lobby has started many conversations and got younger siblings involved right away. Many adults have asked how they can earn amazing medals! Just this week we moved a student who was quitting over to Lesson 1 with Petey the Penguin and the student was laughing and coloring and now is hooked back into learning music and bringing a friend!”

"We have had such a wonderful experience with adding Animal Adventures in Music to our academy! It's been a great way for us to offer lessons to younger students and expand our availability. It has been a great feeder program for our regular private lessons and really has done a good job getting younger students prepared for instrumental lessons. Adding the program was pretty easy and the staff was fantastic to work with. I highly recommend AAM for any studio owner looking to expand their business!"

The Animal Adventures in Music material is impossible not to love.

Each level is jam-packed with rich story-telling, modern design, irresistibly cute characters, and silly shenanigans. We use the beautiful and mysterious world of animals to spark a passion for music and give kids a head start that they can’t get anywhere else. Not to mention, over 1,800 stickers are woven into the Animal Adventures “homework” that our students complete each week. But think less homework and more arts and crafts that reinforce what they learned in class!
